We’re proud to announce that we’re supporting the Startup America Partnership, a nonprofit organization that is “based on a simple premise: young companies that grow create jobs. As a core American value, entrepreneurship is critical to the country’s long term success and it’s time to step up our game.”
As a start-up ourselves, we’ve experienced what can be accomplished by the passion that comes from entrepreneurship. We want to support the start-up community in creative and powerful ways.
We’ll be supporting Startup America in two ways. First, we’ll be providing a credit to all Startup America Firms so they can use our software to bring together their communities, users, or other stake holders. Second, Eventbrite is already a great resource for discovering start-up events because we’re used by many event organizers in community. Eventbrite will syndicate listings of popular start-up focused events, so that start-ups from across the country can learn, network, or celebrate with their peers!
Eventbrite is in great company with this initiative. We joined more than 20 other companies that are providing support for entrepreneurs through the partnership. For a full read of the statement, you can find it here.
The announcement comes while Steve Case, Startup Partnership’s Executive Chairmen, and the team were in Washington, D.C. to meet with the President and White House staff to discuss this important initiative.
