Set It and Forget It With New Ticket Visibility Settings

It’s common for event organizers to use some form of pricing promotion to drive early registration and ticket sales for their events. We’ve always made it easy for you to offer tickets and registration options at different prices for a single event, and even make changes on the fly.

Now you can set up your event page in advance to automatically show and hide certain tickets and registrations, based on your requirements.

This new Ticket Visibility setting allows you to hide ticket/registration types until or after a certain date and time, or when another ticket/registration type hits capacity or sells out.

Automatically set specific ticket types to appear only when a previous ticket type sells out.

For example, let’s say you offer two levels of early registration pricing to kickstart your event sales. Using the Date & Time setting and Ticket Visibility setting within the ticket settings, you can make sure that your Early Bird #2 tickets are hidden and not available for sale until Early Bird #1 sells out. Once Early Bird #1 is sold out, it will automatically show Early Bird #2 tickets so you don’t have to keep an eye on that — especially if it’s in the middle of the night!

Ticket buyers will only see Early Bird #2 tickets when Early Bird #1 is sold out.

Another way you can use this new feature is to drive excitement for an upcoming on sale.

By using the custom date and time setting under Ticket Visibility, you can choose in advance when to automatically start showing your tickets on your event page before the tickets go on sale. Alternatively, you can stop showing tickets after a certain date and time as well.

Choose exactly when to start and stop showing tickets on your event page, in advance.

With so many things to keep track of once your tickets go on sale, it’s nice to know that you can set up your ticket sales and pricing strategy in advance. And you have the ability to change it at any time.
