SXSW is Better Together: Eventbrite Partners with Sched.org

South By Southwest is an amazing event. People come from all over the world to attend the film, music, and interactive festival. Eventbrite is proud to be a part of this experience, and last year we had 435 official and unofficial events on our platform; this year, we’re hoping to support even more.

With so many events on our platform, we’re always looking for ways to improve the SXSW attendee experience. One of the ways that we’re planning to do this is by partnering with another SXSW crowd favorite, Sched.org – a great aggregator of all the official and unofficial events that are happening in Austin.

Here is how we’re teaming up:

Sync Eventbrite RSVPs with your Sched.org account:
Most of the unofficial events are ticketed on Eventbrite. If an attendee is trying to keep track of all their event RSVPs and session plans in one place, they traditionally would have to duplicate their Eventbrite RSVPs in their Sched.org account. We’ve eliminated this step, by allowing you to connect your Eventbrite account to your Sched.org account.

Pull Eventbrite RSVP widget into Sched.org’s schedule list:
Our second integration comes from tying together SXSW listings on Eventbrite and Sched.org. If you post a public event on Eventbrite for SXSW, we’re making it easier for Sched.org users to RSVP by bringing the ticket widget directly into the listing. This will reduce the amount of clicks for the attendee and clarifies how to RSVP for the event.

We’re very excited about this partnership and looking forward to an even more successful SXSW!
