New Integration with WordPress.com

The best partnership ideas are the ones that come from you: our community of Eventbrite organizers. When we see organizers bending over backwards to create a service or functionality that doesn’t exist yet, we pay attention.

Recently, we noticed that our event organizers were using third party plug-ins to integrate events into their websites — but these plug-ins couldn’t be used by the 69.7 million sites that use WordPress.com to publish their blog or manage their content.

So, we made it happen! We couldn’t be more excited to announce an integration with the world’s most popular content management system, WordPress.com. Thousands of our event organizers already use WordPress.com and now we’re making it easier for them to use our services together.

We worked with Automattic, the team behind WordPress.com, to build three points of integration with WordPress.com:

1. A custom theme for event organizers of single or multiple events. Event organizers who apply this theme will have their event information (and any updates) synced to their site, an integrated ticket widget for purchases with fewer clicks, and a customizable design. 2. A custom theme for event organizers with multiple events. Applying this theme allows event organizers to automatically sync their upcoming events to an events calendar, highlight featured events in a scrolling banner, and more. Check out this theme here.

3. A custom widget that pulls in Eventbrite events. Organizers can easily add a custom widget to pages that will sync events to their site without making any changes to their existing theme. Check

WordPress.com is one of the major building blocks of the web, and now, Eventbrite and WordPress.com have partnered  is integrated to make it easier for event organizers of all types and sizes to manage their web presence and event ticketing together.
