Itemized Invoices for PayPal, Google Checkout, and More

Do you charge money for your events on Eventbrite? If so, have you used a payment processor, such as PayPal, Google Checkout, or Authorize.net (payment processors can vary by country) to collect the money ? Then you might want to pay attention because you’re going to really like this news!

When you visit the Invoice section of your account, you can now access a detailed breakdown of all of your transactions and fees incurred during that invoice period. You’ll still see aggregate sales and fee data for the event, but you’ll have the option to drill down into each order to understand these individual sales and fees reflected on your invoice. We also track your refunds, credits, charges, and taxes (if applicable) on a per order level in the invoice.

Note: If you use Eventbrite’s credit card processing, you will not receive an invoice because we automatically deduct the Eventbrite Service Fees and credit card processing fees from your gross sales.

We listened to your feedback and wanted to provide you with more transparency into the payment activity for every invoice, so you can get a better understanding of how our fees were calculated for each invoice. Hopefully this will also make your accounting easier at the end of your event.

Note: Only events with all orders completed on or after September 1, 2012 will have itemized invoices.
