Today, I’m very excited to announce a partnership with Guidebook – a free service that allows event organizers to easily create mobile guides for their events.
There are several reasons that I’m bullish about this partnership, not the least of which is Eventbrite and Guidebook’s similar objectives. When I first sat down and started talking with the folks at Guidebook, we clicked because our discussions were always centered around the quality of the user experience (which is exactly how we evaluate potential partnership opportunities).
With Guidebook, event attendees can use their iPhones, Android phones, Blackberries, iPads, or any other mobile devices, to:
- Browse an always-up-to-date schedule of sessions
- Create personalized reminders
- Search for exhibitors and navigate to their booths
- Access an event’s social streams from Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube
Anyone can create a guidebook for their event – but as an Eventbrite organizer, you can save time by importing an existing Eventbrite event to get your guidebook jumpstarted.
The design looks polished and professional, and the user interface is easy to navigate.
