There’s nothing more fun for us than hearing a new user’s Eventbrite success story. We’ve worked hard to tailor our features for an amazing out-of-the-box experience, and it’s exciting when we hear which ones really stood out! Laura Otero is a marketer and event organizer based in South Carolina. She recently decided to try Eventbrite for her upcoming Main Street Latin Festival Kickoff and After Party, after comparing several event-management platforms. Eventbrite Put to the Test

Last night I gave myself the challenge of setting up both upcoming Main Street Latin Festival events using Eventbrite (the Kick Off and After Parties). I timed myself, and it took me less than 2 1/2 hours from start-to-finish. That includes cross-promoting the events on the Festival homepage with graphics and sending an email with a summary to the client. Now that I have experience with Eventbrite, creating additional events will take even less time.

7. Tickets are a breeze – the system has a few different ticketing options. You can set it up to have a confirmation email automatically delivered to the customer with their printable ticket.
To view the events I created, look at the top of the MSLF website. If you live in or around Columbia, S.C., the festival should definitely be on your list of things to do this August!
Now I can use the time I saved to promote the Festival!
