Attention, Bay Area nonprofit organizers! Eventbrite is teaming up with our friends at GreatNonprofits (check out their recent blog post here) for a luncheon at Thirsty Bear a week from today. The topic is: The Power of Trust: How social sharing helps nonprofits gain supporters. Eventbrite and GreatNonprofits are not only important tools that help nonprofits, they’re also ways to engage new supporters. With Eventbrite’s social sharing features, nonprofits can further their reach with attendance at events and fundraisers. And GreatNonprofits’ recommendations are a powerful tool in developing credibility and trust when people are choosing who to support (think Yelp for the nonprofit events community).
For just $10 we’ll provide lunch and a drink ticket, and there will be an opportunity for best practice sharing with fellow attendees. We saw a lot of success with our breakfast seminar last month, and we’re excited to reach new faces and initiate some great idea sharing on Friday.
Eventbrite SF also just hosted a morning seminar for small to medium sized businesses with Vertical Response at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce—and we are looking forward to hosting more local programming events in the future!
